Conor McGregor, who was announced as a minor owner of BKFC during KnuckleMania 4, is now the minority owner.
McGregor was at BKFC’s events in the past but this partnership came as a surprise. Feldman said that McGregor, although a minor owner, has a great deal of influence, because BKFC is looking to leverage his star power in order to increase awareness for the promotion.
“He’s a minority owner, but he has a lot of say in this company,” Feldman said on Sirius XM’s MMA Today (via MMAMania). “He’s going to be part of the board. So, we’re going to get a lot of usage out of Conor McGregor. So far so good. You seem very, very excited. I just wish things would continue in that direction.
