Gina Carano stunned the world earlier this week when she announced that she would be filing a lawsuit against Disney.
Carano says that Disney and Lucasfilm targeted her unfairly, which ended the actress’s time as The Mandalorian. Since her firing, she has only appeared on screen twice, with one coming in a lead role for Terror on the Prairie, featuring fellow MMA veteran Donald Cerrone.
Gina Carano spoke with Fox News’ Jesse Watters shortly after she announced her intent to sue corporations. The 41-yearold woman shared why she thinks she has been used as a victim.
“I’m not sure, but I think it might be because I am a little unassuming.” Carano declared, “I am easy to work with.” “If you ask anyone on that set, they’d say I am the most non-controversial individual.”
“But I think that, as we’ve seen in America, many of us are sick and tired.” So, I believe that I was unassuming when I stood up. I think this is why I was targeted.
Carano said that, if Disney and Lucasfilm were to throw her under a bus with ease, then no one would be safe.
