Jamahal hill has denied that he struck the Brazilian in the low area seconds before his knockout. This is after a dominant first-round KO loss at UFC 300.
Hill, who was the undisputed light heavyweight champ and is currently ranked number three in his division, headlined UFC 300 at the weekend. The Sao Paulo fighter won the first round with a stunning, knockout.
Hill smashed the former middleweight champion low in an exchange on the fence. After Pereira refused to take a timeout, Herb Dean, Hill sprung into action with a left shovelhook, knocking down the Illinois native before ground attacks forced the issue.
Hill, who was the first product to come out of the Octagon after his knockout loss a week earlier, is already scheduled to return. Dana White’s Contender Series To win promotional spoils is set to face Khalil Rountree in UFC 303, at the end June during International Fight Week.
