Dana White denies that Conor McGregor will be fighting Joaquin Buckley


Eleventh-ranked welterweight Joaquin Buckley extended his winning streak to four consecutive fights on Saturday in the UFC St. Louis co-main event.  Buckley was able to secure a unanimously-decided win against Nursulton RUZIBOEV and made quite the promo in his interview after the fight.  

Buckley called out former two-division champion Conor McGregor following his win on Saturday, but the two will never stand across the octagon from each other.   

“Who would you like to see next?”  He already has a scheduled fight, but he’s got an impressive name.  If you’re at the mic, there’s only one powerful name that you should shout out.  Buckley told Buckley in an interview after the fight that Conor McGregor was his name.  

You’re fighting a lightweight, but not a 170.  You are fighting a lightweight.  You’re battling a midget lightweight.  Come on, bro.  Buckley continued, “Come at me.”  “You said you built your weight up but you’re bullying Sean O’Malley and Ryan Garcia.  Come on, bully me.  Let’s see how you really behave.  

McGregor is set to make his octagon return on June 29 in the UFC 303 main event against lightweight contender Michael Chandler.  This will be the first…
