Khamzat, a middleweight who has never lost, wants to fight Robert Whittaker in UFC Saudi Arabia on June 10th, with a 10-round limit.
Chimaev improved his record to 13-0 last October, when he defeated Kamaru Usman, the former undisputed welterweight and pound for pound number one in an impromptu fight.
Whittaker is a New Zealand-born fighter who returned to the ring after losing a knockout last summer in rematch with current champion Dricus Du Plessis. He won 2-1 by decision over former title challenger Paulo Costa.
