Leon Edwards and Belal Mohammed in heated exchange as potential rematch nears


Leon Edwards, who was a champion in the past, had to once again silence his critics. He did it easily last time. Despite the complaints of his opponent, Leon Edwards put on a fantastic display and easily defeated Colby Covington in a unanimous decision.

It was the Brit’s 2nd defense of the UFC Welterweight Title and now all eyes look to who will take the stage next. Belal Muhammad is one of several options.

“Remember the Name” is undefeated over his last 10 matches and Edwards has said that he is scared to risk his title against him. Muhammad, who had been calling for his shot for a considerable amount of time, has finally received a response from the 170 lb. man at the top of the table.

“Belal, calm yourself down son, because you’re not the most intimidating person in this organization.” I told the UFC that I didn’t care, and I would fight you next. That’s simple work. Edwards replied to Muhammad’s plea for an opportunity to fight for the title. “You have to find out why they are so hostile towards you.”

Belal Muhammad wasn’t happy with Edwards comments. Belal Muhammad responded to Edwards on social media.

“If I am the least intimidating, then why?” [are] You intimidated? You should have jumped in the fight as soon as I said it was easy…
