Leon Edwards reveals that the welterweight title will be defended at UFC 300


Leon Edwards, who has just made his second successful defense of the welterweight title two weeks ago, is not wasting any time returning to the octagon.

The champion, who has beaten Colby Covington with ease, is looking forward to defending his title and continuing his winning streak next time. According to the man, he is one of the major additions for the historic UFC 300 program.

Leon Edwards addressed the Aston Villa fans while he was at his favorite soccer team’s stadium, where they won 3-2 against Burnley. 

Edwards described his recent title defense in UFC 296 as “amazing.” “To defend my title for the second and bring it home.”

Rocky revealed he was going to compete at UFC 300, before hopefully defending the gold he won in Birmingham in later this year.

“I’ll defend my belt at UFC 300 again in Vegas in April. In the summer, I’m hoping to get a fight at Villa Park in Birmingham. I’m currently in negotiations with the UFC so hopefully, we can make it happen.”

UFC 300 remains open to all, despite Dana White not making anything official at this point. There are currently not confirmed title fights, although some believe that there could be.
