There’s a saying people are fond of this time of year: “Hope springs eternal.” This year’s first weekend of spring is filled to the brim with competitive violence. After two championship fights in Bellator MMA‘s debut on Max this Friday, Saturday begins at high noon with more action from the European scene.

Stuttgart, Germany, is hosting the second show in March and the fourth event of the year for Oktagon MMA, a Czech company. Oktagon 55 is taking place at the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle on Saturday.

The live coverage of Oktagon 55 will begin at 12 noon ET/9 am PT in the United States. The event will stream to American audiences via DAZN as usual.

Welterweight Rematch in Oktagon 55 Main Event

If there are no late postponements, 12 fights should be held between now until Saturday. The daytime MMA show will be capped by a rematch between two fighters weighing 170 lbs. In the Oktagon 55’s main event. Christian Jungwirth (16-12-1 MMA / 6-6 Oktagon), seeking his second victory over Robert Pukac (4-7 Oktagon), under the Oktagon banner.

The main event on Saturday is advertised as a maximum three rounds of five minutes each to close the show.
