Joe Pyfer, who has a history of knockouts inside the Octagon is about to headline his very first UFC event. The unranked prospect meets returning top contender Jack Hermansson in a middleweight matchup that’s scheduled for five rounds or less at UFC Vegas 86.
‘Bodybagz’ has surely lived up to the hype so far since bursting onto the UFC scene. Pyfer, 27, earned a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series with a knockout back in 2022. He’s followed it up with three more knockouts over the likes of Alen Amedovski, Gerald Meerschaert, and Abdul Razak Alhassan.
Hermansson returns after a more than year-long absence. Injuries have kept ‘Joker’ out of the Octagon after a submission loss to Roman Dolidze in Dec. 2022. Currently ranked at #11, Hermansson seeks to prove he’s still a force to be reckoned with at middleweight.
Happy Fight Day, everyone! 🎉
