Henry Cejudo weighs in on alleged UFC 297 main event 'headbutt'

Following his loss to Dricus Du Plessis in the UFC 297 main event, former champion Sean Strickland released a statement alleging that Du Plessis had headbutted him during the match.  Strickland also posted a video on his social media account, blaming the headbutt for the loss.  

“Well f**k haha… man that headbutt really made it difficult to see but I thought we got the job done. The whole bloody thing!!! Next one!!! Thank you to all who have supported me,” he said on X (formerly Twitter).

Strickland said, “We know I won…” In his second post. The only reason it wasn’t a one-sided fight for five rounds was because my eye ….. was taken by the headbutt.
